Mid-Level Store Manager – Village Walk

Village Walk is one of our high-turnover stores, and we are looking for a strong, experienced retail leader who is ready to take ownership of its continued success.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving strong commercial results, and ensuring that the store consistently operates at the highest standard. This role requires someone who is competitive and performance-driven, but equally committed to creating a positive, supportive, and motivating environment where people can thrive.

You will need to be a leader who can set ambitious standards, inspire others to reach them, and remain hands-on when the pace gets demanding. We are looking for someone who understands that great results come from great people and knows how to bring out the best in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the store’s performance, driving sales, productivity, and commercial results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while maintaining a strong and healthy store culture.
• Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable while creating an environment where people feel supported and encouraged.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure that customer service, visual standards, stock management, and operational processes remain consistently high.
• Use store performance insights to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and continuously improve results.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, particularly during high-volume trading periods, and maintain a strong sense of urgency.
• Build a team that consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience and represents the Burnt Studios brand authentically.

Experience & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of managerial experience, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong track record of driving sales and achieving commercial targets.
• Experience managing a high-volume or high-turnover retail environment will be highly advantageous.
• A relevant Diploma or Degree in Retail Business Management, Organisational Psychology, Operations, Business Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
