Are you a trade-tested Millwright who thrives on solving problems, chasing down faults and keeping production equipment performing at its best?
If Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC fault-finding are part of your toolkit, and you’re equally comfortable with the electrical and mechanical side of a busy manufacturing environment, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
We’re looking for a hands-on, technically strong Millwright who understands that in manufacturing, every minute of downtime matters. You’ll play a key role in keeping plant and equipment reliable, carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and ensuring production continues safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance across the plant
- PLC fault-finding and breakdown response
- Preventative maintenance to minimise production downtime
- Maintaining electrical/electronic equipment to high safety and operational standards
- Maintaining curing equipment
- Monitoring machine settings and preventing unnecessary raw-material losses
- Ensuring production efficiency and product quality
- Managing maintenance stores and purchasing of spares/equipment
- Ordering and receipting raw materials and electrical spares
- Maintaining accurate daily production statistics and labour hours
- Ensuring planned maintenance systems are kept up to date
- Supporting effective workforce utilisation and plant efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with the OHS Act, company safety requirements and operational policies
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Trade Tested Millwright
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing / production environment
- Strong PLC fault-finding experience – Siemens & Allen Bradley
- Hands-on experience with 220V & 380V electrical systems
- Experience with electrical panels and control circuits
- Competent with both HT and LT electrical maintenance
- Strong electrical AND mechanical maintenance skills
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, objective and able to work professionally with employees at all levels
- Must reside in Western Cape
