Job description
In-depth understanding of machinery and equipment. Familiarity with safety devices and regulatory compliance Proficient in maintenance management and documentation practices. Training in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Experience with PLCs. Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic tools. Proficiency in reading and interpreting diagrams and schematic drawings. Skilled in using hand and power tools for installation and repairs. Expertise in inspecting, adjusting, and repairing machinery. Computer literate: MS Excel & MS Word.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams and schematic drawings.
Determine work procedures and identify faults based on diagrams and drawings. Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery issues to facilitate accurate repairs. repairing and maintaining trailer manufacturing machinery, ensuring efficient and reliable production operations. Equipment Installation Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans.
Utilize hand and power tools to ensure precise and effective installation.
Install and commission new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality. Machinery Inspection and Examination Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions. Assess equipment performance and functionality to identify potential issues. Inspect, test, and repair MCC circuits and wiring systems. Diagnose and repair electrical equipment issues.
Use installed programs to perform fault finding on programmable logic control circuits (PLCs). Adjustment & Repairs Adjust machinery settings and calibrations as needed. Repair or replace defective parts to restore equipment to optimal performance. Ensure safety devices are functional after repairs, modifications, and installations.
Dismantle and assemble machinery and parts as required for maintenance or repair. Execute repairs on pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Preventative/Routine Maintenance Participate in routine preventative maintenance to enhance equipment longevity and performance.
Perform regular maintenance tasks and inspections according to scheduled plans. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance tasks on equipment. Ensure machinery operates smoothly and efficiently.
Perform planned maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment. Documentation and Reporting Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation. Provide feedback and updates on equipment status and maintenance activities.
