SUMMARY: Our client, a market leader in the FMCG and packaging sector, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician/ Millwright, to join their fast paced maintenance team.

Please note that only candidates who have a trade test as Millwright or Electrician with solid mechanical competencies , coupled with experience in the packaging, FMCG or manufacturing sector will be considered .

POSITION INFO: KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION You will have completed a trade test as a Millwright or Electrician with proven mechanical competencies, as well as N6 or a National Diploma in Engineering studies, coupled with at least 3-5 years experience in plant and utilities maintenance of equipment within the plant In addition, you will have proven experience in both mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs, preventative maintenance and breakdown prioritising on high speed manufacturing and\/or print equipment. You will have proven experience in optimizing equipment, continuously improve processes, reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency. You will be a team player, communicate effectively and be able to interpret technical drawings You will be a team player, self motivated, organised and creative, with a strong customer focus and have good communication skills.
