Mimecast Specialist (Email Security & Continuity)
Agility Projects & Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for a Mimecast Specialist (Email Security & Continuity) role in support of a major public sector Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Applications opportunity.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or equivalent qualification (NQF 6 or higher).
- Relevant cybersecurity, Microsoft, or Mimecast certifications will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise email security and messaging environments.
Required Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the implementation, administration, support, maintenance, migration, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise email security and continuity solutions, including:
- Mimecast Administration and Support
- Email Security Solutions
- Email Archiving and Retention
- Email Continuity Services
- Threat Protection and Cyber Security
- Anti-Spam and Anti-Phishing Solutions
- Secure Email Gateway Management
- Email Encryption Solutions
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Microsoft 365 Integration
- Microsoft Exchange Online
- Email Migration Projects
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- User Support and Technical Troubleshooting
- Policy Configuration and Compliance Management
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Additional Experience Advantageous:
- Managed Services Provider (MSP) environments
- Enterprise application support environments
- Public sector or municipal projects
- Cybersecurity and compliance projects
- Systems integration projects
- Technical documentation and knowledge transfer
- Training and skills transfer activities
