Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Bus Driver role based in Richards Bay. The Bus Driver will operate buses safely on assigned routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following traffic laws and company policies, and maintaining a clean and orderly bus interior. The role involves providing courteous customer service, assisting passengers as needed, and reporting any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel. The Bus Driver will also complete necessary logs or reports and participate in periodic training to maintain safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Bus operation for safe and efficient vehicle handling.
• Candidates should possess Defensive Driving skills to anticipate road risks and maintain high safety standards.
• Candidates should possess Driver Training experience or be willing to participate in company-provided training programs.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with passengers and staff.
• Valid and appropriate driver’s license and PDP with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations, particularly in the Richards Bay area.
• Ability to work part-time shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
