ACCOUNTANT

M****olenaar Industrial Technologies

(Videojet – Industrial Coding & Labelling Equipment)

We are seeking a driven and experienced Financial Accountant who is efficient, self-motivated, and ready to contribute to our success at our Paarl offices.

REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant BCom Degree or equivalent
10 years relevant experience to balance sheet
Strong Financial and costing experience
Advanced Excel Skills
Super user on ERP system – QMuzik or similar
Highly Experienced in multi-currency transactions – Essential
Analytical, problem solver, able to prioritise, multi- task and pay attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Proven track record working in a fast-paced environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Full function to Balance sheet (including Fixed Asset Register) for local and foreign subsidiaries.
Monitoring and reporting monthly management accounts for subsidiaries.
Assist with the compilation of the Group’s annual budget
Assist the Financial Manager in other financial areas of the company
Collecting and analysing data, which will be used to provide information to other departments, enabling them to make informed budgeting, investment and/or cost decisions
Responding to financial inquiries by gathering data and interpreting data
South African Reserve Bank applications and exchange control queries
Assist with annual year-end audit and statutory accounts
VAT returns and annual VAT reconciliations
Assist with Provisional and Annual Income tax returns
Assist with Income Tax and Company’s Act Compliance
Foreign Creditors Reconciliation review
Fleet Management
