Location: Paarl (Travel required)

MIT, a leading supplier of production line equipment such as inkjet coders and related technologies for batch & date coding onto FMCG goods, is seeking dynamic and self-motivated Product Specialist/Sales Representative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell industrial equipment such as:
  • Continuous Ink Jet Printers (for batch and date coding on FMCG goods)
  • Label applicators for industrial applications
• Actively engage in cold calling and canvassing to secure new business
• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory
• Maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing and referred clients
• Travel to client sites including manufacturing plants, packaging facilities, and factories

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ proven field sales experience, preferably in industrial or technical environments.
• Strong background in cold calling and business development.
• Technical aptitude in machinery such as printers, copiers, conveyors, or similar.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and computer literacy skills.
• Grade 12 qualification required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel frequently.
