The role

We’ve spent countless hours perfecting our bubble tea, and our Mixologist protects that standard on every

cup. You craft bubble tea, milkshakes, iced and blended drinks and seasonal signature beverages exactly

to recipe, with pearls, teas and toppings prepped to perfection and presentation guests can’t help but

photograph.

Key responsibilities

Signature drinks

• Prepare bubble tea, milkshakes, iced and blended

drinks exactly to recipe.

• Measure, shake and seal every drink to our portion

and quality standards.

• Keep drink times tight during peak periods.

Bubble tea craft

• Cook, rest and hold tapioca pearls to our timing

standards.

• Brew teas and prepare syrups and toppings in the

right batch sizes.

• Discard product that falls outside holding times.

Presentation

• Make every drink look as good as it tastes:

photo-ready, every time.

• Keep the bar display, toppings and garnish station

fresh and appealing.

• Follow our cup, label and sealing standards.

Prep, stock & hygiene

• Complete daily batch prep so each shift starts

service-ready.

• Label, date and rotate stock (first in, first out), and

record waste.

• Keep sealers, blenders and shakers clean and

working.

Guest service

• Take orders accurately and process payments.
• Guide first-timers through flavours, pearls and

toppings.

• Recommend and upsell add-ons and seasonal

specials.

Creativity & teamwork

• Contribute ideas for new flavours and seasonal

specials.

• Support the coffee station and floor team during

peaks.

• Assist with opening and closing duties.What you bring
• Essential

• Full availability for weekends, evenings and public

• Eligible to work in South Africa.
• Advantageous
• Previous bubble tea, juice bar or beverage bar
• experience.
• Experience creating mocktails or signature
• drinks.
• Barista experience.
• An active interest in drink trends and social
• media.
• Working hours & transport · please read carefully
• Shifts of 10–12 hours on a rotating roster, with 2 days off per week.
• Staff transport service available to team members living within 20 km of the store.
• Availability on weekends, evenings and public holidays is non-negotiable. These are
• our busiest trading periods.
• Training provided
• Our bubble tea recipes are ours alone, so everyone learns them from scratch. Bring the creativity and the
• discipline, and we’ll teach you the craft.
• Full training on every drink recipe, pearl cooking and holding times, and presentation standards.
• Structured onboarding covering our brand story, menu, service standards and house rules.
• Food safety, hygiene and allergen training before you work independently.
• Point-of-sale (POS), payments and cash-handling training.
• Ongoing coaching and feedback from the store leadership team.
• Room to grow as the group expands, with cross-skilling across roles and stores for strong performers.
• Your first 90 days
• WEEKS 1–2 · NON-NEGOTIABLE MONTH 1 MONTH 3
• Know everything: every drink recipe,
• pearl and tea prep, and assemble
• every final product on the menu to
• standard.
• Run the beverage bar
• independently at service speed,
• including batch prep and opening
• and closing.
• Deliver peak-time volume at full
• standard and pitch your first
• seasonal drink idea.
