Mobile Breakdown and Wheel Alignment Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Breakdown and Wheel Alignment Technician to join our team at Royal Tyres. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site and mobile tyre repair, maintenance, and wheel alignment services to our clients. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Breakdown Services:
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and provide efficient tyre repair and replacement services.
• Diagnose and repair various types of tire issues, including punctures, leaks, and blowouts.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Wheel Alignment Services:
• Perform precise wheel alignment using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure optimal vehicle performance and tyre longevity.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle suspension and steering components.
• Provide accurate assessments and recommend necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice on tire maintenance and alignment.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
• Provide detailed reports and explanations of services performed.
• Maintenance and Equipment:
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Keep the service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and parts.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Administrative Duties:
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Use company systems to log service calls, maintain records, and track inventory.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a tyre technician, wheel alignment technician, or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of tyre repair, replacement, and wheel alignment procedures.
• Familiarity with various types of vehicles and tire brands.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy tyres and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in wheel alignment or tyre repair.
• Previous experience in a mobile service role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
