Job description

WD Auto Clinic is looking for an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Please note: This position is for a motor mechanic only. We are not looking for a diesel mechanic.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
Remove, repair, and refit gearboxes.
Carry out engine repairs and overhauls.
Perform general mechanical repairs on petrol vehicles.
Troubleshoot and repair basic automotive electrical systems.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while following safety procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a motor mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience with gearbox removal and installation.
Solid engine repair and mechanical repair experience.
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, honest, and committed to quality workmanship.
Valid driver's licence will be an advantage.

Must reside in Cape Town, Western Cape
