Job Summary

As a Motorbike driver, you will be the face of our company on the road. Your primary role will involve picking up and delivering documents, parcels, and small packages to various businesses and residential addresses within the designated delivery zones. If you love riding, have an excellent sense of direction, and take pride in providing great customer service, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient Deliveries & Pick-ups: Collect packages from our depot or clients and deliver them to designated addresses accurately and on time.
• Route Planning: Navigate city streets efficiently, utilizing GPS and local knowledge to find the safest and fastest routes while avoiding traffic hotspots.
• Package Security: Ensure all items are securely loaded, handled with care, and protected from weather conditions during transit.
• Record Keeping: Obtain digital or physical signatures upon delivery, scan barcodes, and update the delivery tracking app in real-time.
• Customer Service: Maintain a polite, professional, and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and recipients.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the company motorbike (or your own, if applicable). Check tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all road traffic regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensing: A valid, unendorsed motorcycle driver’s license (e.g., Code A).
• Driving Record: A clean driving record with no recent severe traffic violations.
• Experience: Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role is highly preferred.
• Navigation Skills: Familiarity with the local city/suburbs and strong proficiency in using GPS/navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze).
• Technology: Must own or be able to use a smartphone to operate our delivery tracking software.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 15-20 kg) and comfortable riding in various weather conditions.
• Language: Basic proficiency in English (or local business language) for reading addresses and communicating with clients.
