Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Construction & Workshop Supervisor to oversee ongoing construction activities, manage workshop and fabrication tasks, and support both welding and woodworking operations. This role requires both leadership and practical skills, including the ability to perform and supervise metal and woodwork, ensuring quality and safety standards are met across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise on-site construction work and ensure alignment with plans and safety protocols
Manage workshop activities including metal and wood fabrication
Perform welding, cutting, and woodwork as needed
Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate fabrication
Monitor materials, tools, and inventory
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and the internal team
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop and job site
Train and support junior workers or apprentices if applicable
Proven experience in construction supervision
Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding)
Proficient in woodworking and general fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Hands-on leadership and strong organizational skills
Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations
Vocational training or certifications in welding, carpentry, or construction (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R7 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
