Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Handyman to provide efficient and high-quality maintenance support across guest accommodation, villas, recreational facilities, and public areas within the Vacation Club. The role is responsible for ensuring that facilities remain safe, functional, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing while delivering excellent customer service to guests and stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

Building and Facilities Maintenance

• Perform general building maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct electrical and plumbing repairs within the scope of competence.
• Complete carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, ceiling, and finishing repairs.
• Maintain fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, and related building infrastructure.
• Assist with refurbishment and improvement projects.

Preventative Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections of accommodation units and facility areas.
• Identify and report maintenance risks, defects, and required repairs.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed timeously.

Guest and Customer

• Support Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and operational teams.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service at all times.
• Minimize disruption to guests during maintenance activities.

Maintenance Administration

• Complete maintenance records and job-related documentation accurately.
• Report completed work, materials used, and outstanding maintenance requirements.
• Adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and reporting requirements.

Health, Safety and Compliance

• Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and hazard-free.

Skills and Competencies

• Electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Carpentry and woodworking.
• Tiling and painting.
• Drywall and ceiling repairs.
• Maintenance of fixtures and fittings.
• Door and window repairs.
• General building maintenance.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Basic maintenance administration and reporting.

Qualifications

Education

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Trade-related qualification advantageous.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years' experience in building, facilities, hospitality, or property maintenance.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's licence.
