About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated child-development specialist to join our family—not as a temporary caregiver, but as a long-term partner in raising our child. This is a career-defining role for a nanny who views their work as a profession, not a job.

Core Responsibilities

· Child Development & Enrichment: Plan and execute daily, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth—including sensory play, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, and early literacy.

· Safety & Well-being: Maintain vigilant supervision at all times, uphold our family’s health and nutritional standards, and ensure a secure environment.

· Daily Logistics: Manage the child’s schedule, coordinate playdates, transport to and from activities, and ensure smooth daily routines.

· Child-Focused Household Support: Handle children’s laundry, prepare nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks), and keep play areas clean and organized.

Who You Are

· Experienced: You have 1+ years of professional, verifiable nanny experience with excellent references.

· Proactive: You anticipate needs, offer creative solutions, and bring fresh ideas to the table without needing to be directed.

· A Strong Communicator: You believe in transparency, providing daily updates, photos, and milestone tracking to partner effectively with parents.

· Reliable & Professional: You are punctual, have a clean driving record, and are fully vaccinated.

· A Willingness to Relocate: This is a mandatory requirement. The successful candidate must be prepared to move to [Upington, NORTHERN CAPE] for this long-term position.

· Certification Advantage: While not required, possession of a valid CPR and First Aid certification is considered a strong advantage.
