Network Field Engineer ( Kibo Connect/ Kibo Technical)

Location: Cape Town (Office based with regular travel to client sites)

Kibo Technical is a managed IT services and cloud solutions provider supporting businesses across South Africa. We deliver IT support, Microsoft 365 solutions, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management to a diverse client base.

We are looking for a hands-on Field Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with clients, and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.

This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys a mix of onsite work, project implementation, and client support within a fast-paced MSP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support to business clients.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop, server, networking, and cloud environments.
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver timely resolutions.
• Perform client site visits, upgrades, deployments, and project work.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and ticket updates.
• Assist with networking, cabling, wireless, firewall, and infrastructure implementations.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity and operational best practices.
• Take ownership of tickets, projects, and client outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the business professionally.

Requirements

Essential

• 3–5 years' technical support experience (MSP, ISP, or multi-client support)
• Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
• Networking troubleshooting knowledge.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own reliable transport.

Advantageous

• Microsoft certifications (MS-900, AZ-900, MD-102, AZ-104).
• Experience with ConnectWise, N-able, Huntress, Sentinel One, or similar platforms.
• Firewall and cybersecurity experience.
• Microsoft Intune and Azure administration experience.
