Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previousvehicle sales experience will be advantageous.
• Proven track record in sales and achieving targets will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own reliable transport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer literacy.
• Customer service orientated with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic and target driven.
• Ability to work under pressure in a competitive sales environment.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve and consistently exceed monthly new vehicle sales targets.
• Proactively identify and generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking and lead generation.
• Manage and follow up on all leads in accordance with company processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and lead information on the relevant dealership systems.
• Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles based on their needs and budget.
• Present vehicle features, benefits, specifications and pricing to customers.
• Negotiate vehicle deals within authorised parameters to maximise sales and profitability.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Follow up on quotations, outstanding leads and prospective customers.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to generate repeat and referral business.
• Ensure all sales documentation and customer information is completed accurately and timeously.
• Work closely with F&I and Administration teams to ensure a smooth vehicle delivery process.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge, competitor offerings, promotions and industry developments.
• Ensure vehicles on display are clean, presentable and correctly positioned.
• Deliver a professional handover of vehicles to customers.
• Adhere to all dealership policies, procedures, compliance requirements and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and contribute positively to the dealership's reputation.
• Participate in sales meetings, training and performance reviews.
• Perform any other reasonable duties required by management.
