Rola BYD is excited to be opening a new BYD dealership in Malmesbury, Western Cape and is looking for a motivated New Vehicle Sales Manager to join our dynamic team within the prestigious Rola Motor Group. If you’re passionate about people, cutting-edge automotive technology, and sustainable mobility—including Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs)—this role is your launchpad to success. You’ll play a key role in representing BYD’s advanced electrified vehicle range while helping customers make smarter, cleaner mobility choices. Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in Vehicle Sales Management (Experience with electric vehicles highly advantageous)
Valid driver’s licence
Fluent in Afrikaans & English
Tech-savvy with solid computer literacy (MS Office essential)
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
Knowledge of EV and PHEV technology with a willingness to learn
Proven networker with strong industry connections
Track record of consistently meeting monthly sales targets
High attention to detail, organised & structured
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to perform under pressure & multitask
Ability to effectively strategise & implement plans and controls
Excellent knowledge of vehicles & managerial expertise
Clear criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and implement sales activities to achieve and exceed monthly targets.
Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that elevate brand presence.
Manage customer relationships with a customer-first approach, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Oversee finances, administration, and departmental reporting with precision.
Conduct resource planning and staff development to build a high-performing team.
Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently deliver results and exceed objectives.
Ensure compliance with dealer and company standards, maintaining professionalism and integrity.
