NIGHT HOST & WEEKEND SUPERVISOR

A luxury boutique hotel in Camps Bay is looking for a confident, organized and hands-on Night Host & Weekend Supervisor to join our small team of hospitality professionals.

With only six hotel rooms and four neighbouring apartments, we offer a personalized guest experience where attention to detail matters.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming and checking guests in and out
• Assisting guests with requests and resolving any issues
• Communicating through email, WhatsApp and 3rd party booking engines
• Updating reservations, guest accounts and booking systems
• Preparing arrival documents and departure invoices
• Preparing simple guest meals when requested
• Setting the dining room and preparing the kitchen for breakfast
• Restocking the bar, wine cellar, water, linen and amenities
• Completing basic stock checks and operational tasks
• Assisting with turndowns and light housekeeping support when needed
• Ensuring the hotel remains secure, organized and guest-ready
• Supervising weekend staff and inspecting rooms
• Assisting with basic pool and Jacuzzi care on weekends

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-all-night position. We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved, takes pride in the small details and is comfortable being the go-to person during their shift.

Supervisory experience will be advantageous, but attitude, reliability and genuine hospitality are just as important.

Working hours

• Night shifts: 21:00–05:00
• Weekend Day shifts: 06:00–15:00
• Two weekends off per month
• Rotational roster

Salary package

• R15 000.00 gross basic salary per month
• R7.50 night-shift allowance per night hour worked
• R1,000 monthly transport allowance
• Sundays paid at 1.5 times the ordinary rate
• Public holidays paid at double time
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the ordinary rate
