Job description
Job Purpose
To design and facilitate engaging non-technical automotive training that develops the knowledge,
skills and performance of dealership and internal employees, with a focus on sales, product
knowledge, customer experience and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom, virtual and blended learning programmes.
- Deliver sales, product, customer experience and brand training.
- Develop and maintain training material, presentations, QRGs, assessments and e-learning content.
- Conduct training needs analysis, assessments and learner evaluations.
- Translate vehicle features and technology into simple, customer-focused sales
conversations.
- Provide coaching and feedback to support learner performance and knowledge application.
- Engage with Dealer Principals, GMs, Sales Managers and Sales Executives to identify
capability needs.
- Monitor training activities, learner completion and training effectiveness, providing relevant
reports to management.
- Support new vehicle/product launches and sales campaigns.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resource Development, Education, Training,
Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Automotive Management, Commerce or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in automotive training, sales, L&D or a related automotive
environment.
- Demonstrated experience in training facilitation, coaching and people development.
- Experience in automotive sales and/or product training.
- Experience developing learning material and assessments.
- Strong understanding of the automotive dealership environment.
- Experience engaging with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers and Sales Executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.
