I'm looking for a nonprofit Accounting & Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant with prior experience supporting an organization through an external financial audit. This role pays 5-11$/hr.
About the Role:
This company is a nonprofit organization that supports youth, families, and community programs, and they are looking to bring on an Accounting & Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant to help with bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit preparation.
You will work alongside an existing bookkeeping team while maintaining organized financial records, tracking expenses, preparing leadership reports, and helping keep the organization consistently prepared for audit and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain audit-ready records and support ongoing financial compliance.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions regularly.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and invoicing workflows.
- Prepare financial summaries and program-specific reports for leadership.
- Track budgets, expenses, funding, and program spend-downs.
Tools You Will Be Using:
- QuickBooks for bookkeeping and reconciliation
- Google Drive for financial documentation
- Paylocity for payroll support
