REMUNERATION

Grade 1: R 181 230 per annum, Grade 2: R 211 401 per annum, Grade 3: R 249 141 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).

DUTIES (KEY RESULT AREAS/OUTPUTS)

Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). To provide elementary clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Maintain professional growth/ ethical standards and self-development.

EXPERIENCE

Grade1: None after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSGrade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS)

Knowledge of nursing care and procedures, nursing statutes, and other relevant legal frameworks. Must have good communication skills. Interpersonal skills.

REGISTRATION WITH A PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL

Registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.

INHERENT REQUIREMENT

Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Will be required to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Must be prepared to assist in all departments according to operational needs. Must be willing and able to assist at other facilities within the Southern and Western Sub-Structure.
