Job description
- Overseeing and managing all nursing services to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
- Developing, implementing and evaluating nursing policies, procedures and protocols in line with regulatory requirements.
- Leading, mentoring and supervising the nursing team to promote professional growth and excellent performance.
- Ensuring compliance with nursing standards, legislation, and best-practice guidelines.
- Monitoring and evaluating quality of care and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Managing staffing, rosters and resource allocation within the nursing department.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for residents.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, residents and families.
- Promoting a culture of safety, dignity, respect, and continuous improvement.
