Are you passionate about Occupational Health and Safety and committed to developing future safety professionals?
Skills Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Facilitator to join our Academic Team. The successful candidate will facilitate learning, provide academic support, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality OHS education while ensuring compliance with HW SETA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Occupational Health and Safety programmes in accordance with curriculum requirements
- Deliver engaging and effective learning sessions to students
- Provide academic guidance and support throughout the learning journey
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate academic records and learner documentation
- Ensure compliance with HW SETA and institutional quality assurance requirements
- Respond to student queries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the Academic Team to enhance the student learning experience
Requirements:
- Minimum NQF Level 5 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Minimum of three years' practical working experience within the Occupational Health and Safety discipline
- Registered with a recognised Occupational Health and Safety professional body
- Assessor and Moderator registration with HW SETA is required
- Previous/ facilitation or lecturing experience will be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
