Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner - Durban (Jacobs industrial area) to provide high-quality occupational and primary healthcare services in Durban.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct medical surveillance and health risk assessments
• Provide vaccinations, health screenings, and chronic disease monitoring
• Treat minor illnesses and injuries, and refer cases when necessary
• Perform audiometry, spirometry, and vision testing (if qualified)
• Promote infection prevention and control in the clinic
• Deliver health education, wellness campaigns, and awareness sessions
• Maintain accurate clinical records on the Health Management System (HMS)
• Assist with emergency response and first aid support
• Manage clinic stock, including medication and consumables
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with OHSA and ISO standards
• Participate in audits and multidisciplinary team meetings

Requirements:

• Relevant nursing qualification and Occupational Health certification
• Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision Testing and Dispensing Certificates - Essential
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• 3+ Years Experience as Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner
• Strong attention to detail, compliance, and patient care
• Working hours: 06h00 to 15h00 - Monday to Friday

Salary: ± R420 000 CTC per year
