Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Port Elizabeth for an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner. The responsibilities include conducting health assessments, managing workplace health programs, offering primary care services, and ensuring regulatory compliance in occupational health. The role also involves collaborating with employers to address health and safety concerns, devising preventive strategies, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Occupational Health Nursing, including knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and regulations and medical surveillance
• Qualifications in Nursing, with an emphasis on clinical excellence and patient care.
• SANC Registration
• Certified and experienced as a Nurse Practitioner with the ability to provide primary care services.
• Specialized understanding of Occupational Health principles, policies, and implementation in diverse workplaces.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and maintain detailed records.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a commitment to employee well-being and workplace health.
• Experience in conducting health and risk assessments is an advantage.
