Job Advert Summary
- Manage and maintain Risk Management Systems across the cluster.
- Ensure legal compliance with all applicable Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk legislation.
- Conduct and coordinate internal and external audits and manage corrective actions.
- Facilitate strategic, operational, physical and compliance risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain site risk registers and legal compliance registers.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures.
- Coordinate contractor management and ensure compliance with construction regulations.
- Drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage loss control, property risk and insurance-related activities.
- Coordinate SHE committee activities, safety representatives and statutory training.
- Ensure all inspections, audits, permits and statutory records are maintained.
- Provide risk and compliance guidance to management and employees.
- Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered General Nurse.
- Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing Practice.
- Certificate in Audiometry.
- Certificate in Spirometry.
- Valid dispensing licence.
- A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in occupational healthcare.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of occupational health principles, medical surveillance and workplace health risks.
- Knowledge of relevant occupational health and safety legislation.
- Competence in conducting audiometry and spirometry assessments.
- Knowledge of employee fitness-for-work assessments and occupational disease management.
- Good clinical assessment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong administrative, record-keeping and report-writing skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Systematic, structured and quality-oriented approach to work.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional, ethical, caring and approachable manner.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management and external healthcare providers.
- Numerate and literate
