Job Opportunity: Occupational Health & Safety Officer / Coordinator

Location: Johannesburg (with regional support)

Reports to: Group OHS & Facilities Manager

Vox is seeking a motivated and professional Occupational Health & Safety Officer / Coordinator to support our Group OHS & Facilities Manager in driving compliance, safety culture, and operational excellence across our offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly OHS audits, consultant visits, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate health & safety documentation, training, and supplier compliance.
• Manage access control systems, including card issuance and contractor access.
• Support OHS Committee meetings, risk assessments, and tender documentation.
• Provide ad‑hoc facilities support for site maintenance and projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety environment.
• Grade 12 plus a secondary qualification in OHS (NQF level).
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional, disciplined, and self‑motivated with strong time management.
• Computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Own transport required.
