Role Purpose To conduct relevant assessments, within the scope of practice, accurately and ensure results are captured within the required turnaround time whilst providing administrative support to the nurse practitioner.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate - Essential
• Audiology Certificate - Essential
• Spirometry Certificate - Essential
• Vision Testing Certificate - Essential
• MS Office - Essential
• 2 years working experience in occupational health field
• Practical knowledge of audiology, spirometry and occupational health principles
• Organisational skills
• Communication skills (written and verbal)

Duties & Responsibilities PROCESS

• Conducting spirometry, vision and audiology assessments.
• Support the Nurse Practitioner with medical procedures.
• Conducting audits on the first aid supplies to ensure legislative compliance.
• Arrange appointments for patients, and maintain the booking system.
• Assist with follow-ups and queries relating to patient appointments.
• Update and maintain the filing system on site.
• Ensure all data required for entry on the system is accurately captured.

CLIENT

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver on service level agreements applicable to clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.
• Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.
• Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
• Continuously monitor turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance client service delivery.
• Drive client service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards in order to ensure that clients receive appropriate advice and after sales service.
• Manage client query processes and ensure that queries are tracked, accurately resolved and used as a mechanism to improve client service and business processes.
