Job Opportunity: Administrator

Blue Star Consultants is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrator to join our growing team in Claremont, Cape Town.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent administrative skills, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the management team.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Prepare quotations, reports, letters, and other business documents.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and company records.
  • Capture and update data on internal systems.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments.
  • Assist with procurement and supplier communication.
  • Maintain office supplies and general office administration.
  • Support project administration and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
  • Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and general finance administration where required.
  • Perform any other reasonable administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Relevant Administration, Office Management, or Business qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
