Position Overview

The Office Administrator supports daily operations at Fresh Earth Gluten Free Bake House by ensuring smooth communication, accurate invoicing, stock capturing, system management, and efficient administrative processes. This role suits someone who is tech‑strong, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail and production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage emails, phone calls, WhatsApp Business communication, and internal messaging.
• Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems.
• Assist with daily office tasks, documentation, and reporting.

Retail & Customer Support

• Support retail operations with order processing, customer queries, and account management.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Stock Control

• Monitor stock levels, ingredient usage, and packaging supplies.
• Capture stock movements accurately and flag discrepancies.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.

Systems & Software

• Use Sage for invoicing, stock management, and supplier processing.
• Work confidently across spreadsheets, email platforms, and cloud-based tools.
• Support basic troubleshooting and ensure data accuracy.

Problem Solving & Team Support

• Identify operational issues and propose practical solutions.
• Collaborate with the Bake House team to improve processes.
• Maintain a positive, team‑focused working environment.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Strong computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, cloud tools, Sage).
• Experience in retail or a large retailer environment.
• Proven stock control experience.
• Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team player with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Advantageous: Experience in food production, bakery, or FMCG environments.

Pay: R6 000,00 - R7 000,00 per month
