Job description

GXT Fire (Pty) Ltd. is looking for a motivated and organized Office Administrator to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is professional, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office administration.
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
  • Preparing quotations, invoices and purchase orders.
  • Capturing supplier invoices and maintaining filing systems.
  • Scheduling technicians and coordinating service calls.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and contractors.
  • Ordering office supplies and tracking stock.
  • Assisting with project administration and documentation.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining company records.
  • Supporting management with day-to-day administrative duties.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.

Advantageous

  • Experience in the fire protection, construction or technical services industry.
  • Experience using accounting software (Sage or similar).
  • Experience preparing quotations and invoices.
  • Knowledge of procurement and stock control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
