Job description
GXT Fire (Pty) Ltd. is looking for a motivated and organized Office Administrator to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is professional, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General office administration.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
- Preparing quotations, invoices and purchase orders.
- Capturing supplier invoices and maintaining filing systems.
- Scheduling technicians and coordinating service calls.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and contractors.
- Ordering office supplies and tracking stock.
- Assisting with project administration and documentation.
- Preparing reports and maintaining company records.
- Supporting management with day-to-day administrative duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
Advantageous
- Experience in the fire protection, construction or technical services industry.
- Experience using accounting software (Sage or similar).
- Experience preparing quotations and invoices.
- Knowledge of procurement and stock control.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 5 years (Preferred)
