Job description
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic workplace. The successful candidate will ensure that office spaces, meeting rooms, kitchens and break areas are kept clean and presentable.
- Location: Ferndale, Randburg
- Days: 2 days per week
- Hours: 08:30–14:00
Key Responsibilities
- Clean offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise all designated areas.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom consumables.
- Monitor, replenish, and manage kitchen refreshments and supplies, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and other beverages and consumables.
- Ensure the kitchen and refreshment areas remain clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms when required, including arranging refreshments and ensuring the room is clean and ready for use.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and office furniture as required.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
- Perform any other related duties as reasonably assigned.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is essential.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Honest, reliable, and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in an office environment.
Pay: From R2 500,00 per month
