Office Cleaner -Tygervalley, CPT

To ensure that all office areas, meeting rooms, kitchens and common spaces are maintained in a clean, hygienic, safe, and presentable condition at all times, creating a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Housekeeping

• Clean and sanitize office workstations, desks, tables, chairs, and office equipment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Dust furniture, blinds, windowsills, shelves, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect kitchens, canteens, and food preparation areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish according to company procedures.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure meeting rooms are clean and prepared for meetings.

Health, Safety and Hygiene

• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Report any maintenance issues, breakages, hazards, or safety concerns immediately.
• Ensure cleaning activities do not disrupt business operations.

Stock and Equipment Management

• Monitor cleaning supply levels and report shortages.
• Care for and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
• Report damaged or faulty equipment.

General Support

• Assist with ad hoc cleaning tasks during company events or meetings.
• Support deep-cleaning activities as required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent (Grade 12 advantageous).
• Previous cleaning experience in an office, retail, commercial, or corporate environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment.
• Available to work from Monday -Friday
