Office & Sales Coordinator, Watch & Engraving Studio

We're looking for one goal-oriented person who wants to build something and grow with a company, and who wants their pay tied to what they make happen.

About us. Aumax is a South African manufacturer of original, laser-crafted watches with designs rooted in local culture, plus corporate trophies and engraved nameplates. Our sales run through an AI-powered WhatsApp system and an order dashboard we built ourselves. We're now opening our first walk-in retail and production hub, a small studio where customers buy, and watch their piece engraved on the spot. You will run it.

What you'll do:

- Sell to walk-in customers and close corporate orders (trophies, nameplates, bulk engraving)

- Handle WhatsApp customer conversations our AI escalates to a human, and answer the studio line

- Operate the laser engraver for on-the-spot personalisation (full training provided, supervised practice before you touch customer stock)

- Film and post TikTok content showing the craft, the machine, and the products, you must be willing to appear on camera

- Keep orders, stock, and the studio organised through our dashboard

How you're paid. R6,692.93/month base plus 40% of the studio's monthly net profit, uncapped, calculated after product costs, damages, and studio running costs, with a transparent monthly statement so you can verify every rand. This means you're paid like a part-owner: you don't just sell, you make the studio profitable, quality, care with stock, and closing real margin all pay you directly. While the studio ramps up in the first months, your base carries you as you build the pipeline; once the studio is in profit, R10,000–R12,000+ per month is genuinely achievable, and there is no ceiling. The first 3 months are a fixed-term pilot; perform, and the role converts to permanent as the founding employee of a growing company.

What we're looking for:

- A seller: comfortable persuading in person and on the phone

- Hands-on maker instinct, a crafts hobby or side hustle (beadwork, resin, vinyl, 3D printing, design) is a strong plus, as is LightBurn/Cricut/Inkscape/CorelDRAW experience

- Confident on camera; short-form video experience a plus

- Computer literate, reliable, and self-directed, you'll often run the studio solo at first and grow the team, as your income also grows the business.

- Goal-oriented: you set targets and chase them without being managed hour to hour

Pay: R6 692,93 - R12 000,00 per month
