Job description

Junior Safety Officer – Cape Town

We are looking for a qualified Junior Safety Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The role involves ensuring health and safety compliance across multiple sites in Construction Environment.

Requirements

SACPCMP registered (non-negotiable)
Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management
Minimum 2–5 years experience
Strong knowledge of the OHS Act
Must have own reliable vehicle
Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
Ensure OHS compliance on all sites
Maintain safety files and documentation
Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
Investigate incidents and compile reports

Salary

R23,000 per month
R2,000 travel allowance
