Job description

PartyLink is looking for a reliable and physically fit driver to assist with:

Delivering and collecting PartyLink equipment
Loading and unloading tables, chairs, tents, jumping castles and décor
Assisting customers with small furniture moves
Collecting large purchases from furniture, hardware and retail stores
Carrying and positioning items safely
Communicating professionally with customers
Keeping the vehicle and equipment clean and secure

This is an opportunity-based position. Work will be offered when bookings and delivery jobs are available. It is not a guaranteed full-time position.

EARNINGS:

Agreed payment for each completed delivery or moving job
Additional payment for loading and moving assistance
Fuel and delivery costs will be agreed upon before each job

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid South African driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle
Proven driving experience
Able to lift and move furniture and heavy equipment
Familiar with Roodepoort and Johannesburg routes
Reliable, punctual, honest and careful
Good customer-service and communication skills
Smartphone with WhatsApp and Google Maps
Available on weekends and sometimes at short notice
Must handle customer property and PartyLink equipment carefully
References and copies of ID and driver’s licence will be required

Experience in furniture removals, events, deliveries or courier work will be an advantage.
