Online ESL Teacher (Native/Neutral Accent) – Fixed Schedule

Position Type: Part-time / Permanent
Hourly Rate: $9.00 – $18.00 USD / hour (approx. R160 – R320 ZAR/hr, 25-min class slots) + Bonuses & Incentives

We do NOT use a flex-booking system. You will finalize your schedule during onboarding, and once agreed upon, it will remain fixed and non-negotiable.
- Daily Time Slots (SAST - South Africa Standard Time):
- Monday – Friday: 12:00 PM – 3:25 PM SAST (18:00 – 21:25 Beijing Time / UTC+8)
- Saturday & Sunday: Up to 7 hours / day
- Availability Requirements:
- Minimum: At least 5 days per week, which MUST include at least 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
- Maximum: Up to 7 days per week if you prefer maximum hours.
- Weekly Commitment: Fixed between 20 to 31.5+ hours/week.
- Note: Partial or fragmented availability will NOT be accepted.
Key Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Language & Accent: English speaker with a genuine native or flawless neutral accent.
- Certification: Valid TEFL / TESOL / CELTA (or equivalent teaching credential).
- Experience & Passion: Passionate about teaching young learners; online ESL teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Hardware Specs: Computer with a CPU PassMark Benchmark score of 7,000+.
- Internet Connection: Stable, high-speed connection with at least 20 Mbps Download & Upload speed (tested on PC/Laptop, not mobile).
- Power & Internet Backup (Crucial): Must have a reliable backup power supply (UPS / Generator / Inverter) and a secondary backup internet connection to guarantee uninterrupted classes during power outages or load shedding.
