About us:
Student Solutions 101 (SS101) is an online tutoring company specialising in grade 10 - 12 mathematics and physical sciences. We deliver structured, high-quality one-on-one lessons supported by own materials and student dashboard.
The role:
You'll deliver one-on-one online lessons to grade 10 - 12 students in maths and/or physical sciences via video conferencing platforms e.g. MS Teams or Google Meet, using SS101's lesson framework and subject resources.
This is a freelance contracting role - you set your availability and we allocate students accordingly.
What we're looking for:
- BEd (FET phase, maths and/or physics) or a BSc/STEM degree with strong maths and science modules
- strong matric results in mathematics and/or physical sceinces
- some prior teaching or tutoring experience (bonus if it was online)
- reliable, well-prepared, and able to explain concepts clearly
