Job description
A fuel supplier for service stations requires an Operations and Logistics Coordinator to oversee supply chain coordination and manage orders to ensure the smooth flow of products from supply to customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Review network of fuel sites
- Schedule fuel transport deliveries and orders according to allocation
- Coordinate and project sales by capacity
- Liaison to retail network on schedule
- Liaison to logistics provider on orders and delivery
- Resolve and support queries
- Track routing and pricing with logistics
- Monitor and troubleshoot supply
Requirements:
- Fleet control or distribution experience (oil and gas industry or company operating more than 10 fleet vehicles essential)
- Logistics and scheduling experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar environment
- Excellent coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Able to problem solve
- Able to speak English and/or Afrikaans
- Available after hours and weekends, on ad hog basis
Remuneration: R35 000 – 45 000 gross negotiable depending on experience
Location: Century City, Cape Town
Working hours: Mon-Wed 09:00 to 16:30, Thurs and Frid work from home, standby afterhours and weekend rotation 1 to 2 hours between 09:00 and 13:00
Pay: R35 000,00 - R45 000,00 per month
