ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Operations and Product Support Technician is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting data-driven business processes, rules, and settings within the company's core operational systems. The role involves managing system configurations, implementing approved changes, investigating system issues, and ensuring that configurations are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business requirements. Working closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will support the effective operation of business systems, maintain system documentation, and identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and system efficiency while ensuring compliance with operational and risk requirements.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Configure and maintain complex, data-driven business processes and rules within core operational systems.

• Make database and system configuration changes accurately, safely and with appropriate testing.
• Investigate and resolve system and configuration issues, working out the root cause.
• Handle day-to-day system administration, including user access, dashboards and routine change requests.
• Work closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver changes.
• Maintain clear documentation of system setup, configuration and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and system efficiency.
• Ensure changes support operational, risk and compliance requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS* A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems will be advantageous.

• Previous experience in systems administration, application support, systems configuration, or a similar technical role.
• Experience working with business systems, system configurations, or data-driven processes.
• Basic understanding of databases and data management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
