Operations Assistant

PFS Holdings is a fast-growing e-commerce and retail supply business based in Morningside, Durban. We supply products across leading online marketplaces including Takealot, Makro, and OneDayOnly, while also expanding into offline retail distribution with major supermarket chains throughout KwaZulu-Natal.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operations Assistant to support our day-to-day operational and fulfilment activities.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily warehouse, fulfilment, and administrative operations. This position is best suited to someone who is organised, proactive, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Capturing and processing supplier invoices
• Coordinating shipments and collections with courier partners
• Managing daily order fulfilment and warehouse dispatch operations
• Assisting with stock coordination and inventory management
• Monitoring order accuracy across online marketplace platforms
• Supporting general administrative and operational functions
• Liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal team members
• Assisting with operational improvements and workflow efficiency

Minimum Requirements

• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
• Previous experience in logistics, fulfilment, administration, or e-commerce will be advantageous
• Valid driver’s license and transport
