The Role

As Operations Controller, you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of the club, ensuring that stock, reporting, systems and processes run smoothly. This role is suited to someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving and being part of a high-energy environment where sport, hospitality and people come together.

You’ll work closely with the club team across court operations, events, Food & Beverage and retail, making sure every detail is managed from behind the scenes while maintaining the standards that create a professional player and member environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operational administration and club processes

Oversee stock control across Food & Beverage, retail and equipment areas

Monitor cost of sales, stock accuracy, revenue controls and operational reporting

Manage reconciliations and support financial procedures

Assist with supplier coordination and purchasing processes

Support events, tournaments and club activations

Ensure POS accuracy and operational procedures are followed

Conduct regular operational checks to maintain club standards and identify areas requiring attention

Identify opportunities to improve systems, controls and efficiency

Work with the wider team to support smooth day-to-day club operations

What We’re Looking For

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Qualification in Hospitality Management, Sports Management or Business Administration advantageous

Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in operations, hospitality, F&B, sports or a similar environment

Stock control, cost management or supplier administration experience advantageous

POS system experience advantageous

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Excellent organisational and administrative skills

High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset

Financially minded with a good understanding of operational controls

A team player who enjoys a fast-moving environment

Willingness to support club operations, tournaments and events when required
