Job description
My client is looking for an Operations Manager to take full ownership of our micro-lending business. This is a hands-on role responsible for driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing daily operations, and leading a small team. You must be a go-getter with enthusiasm and independence.
Requirements:
- BCom in Accounting (Articles not required)
- Minimum 3 years' work experience
- Micro-lending experience advantageous
- Team management experience beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of the micro-lending business
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business
- Grow and optimise the loan portfolio
- Ensure compliance with NCR legislation and internal credit policies
- Manage the team (Administrator)
- Drive business development initiatives
- Oversee collections and bad debt processes
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Liaise with shared finance services
