**OPERATIONS & MARKETING COORDINATOR - AfricaStay UK Launch** Location: Boskruin, Johannesburg (Full-time, On-site) Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday **About AfricaStay** AfricaStay has been operating high-end African lodges and experiences for 21 years. We're launching in the UK this year. We need someone to help run the launch. **The Role** You're supporting the UK launch from day one. Orders, bookings, lodge updates, website content, basic SEO implementation, handling marketing follow-ups. You're the person making sure everything runs smoothly as we bring UK customers to African experiences. **What We're Looking For** - 21 and under, just out of school - Good with tech (not a programmer, but comfortable learning platforms quickly) - Willing to learn SEO and marketing operations—no prior experience needed, willingness required - Fast learner who pays attention - Can commute to Boskruin every day, no exceptions **Growth in This Position** This isn't a static role. Here's how it actually grows: *Month 1-2:* You're learning the systems, processing orders, updating the website, learning basic SEO. Core launch support. *Month 3-4:* You start seeing patterns. You realize certain lodge pages convert better. You start suggesting content changes. Marketing strategy starts emerging from what you're doing daily. *Month 6+:* If you're paying attention, you're running marketing campaigns, owning the SEO strategy, maybe building the customer acquisition playbook. You're not just executing—you're strategizing. *Beyond:* As we scale UK bookings, the marketing operation scales with it. Content strategy, paid campaigns, affiliate partnerships—these become your domain if you want them. People who start here and stay sharp end up running the marketing side. **Why This Matters** You're not managing old systems. You're building the UK launch. What you set up in month one becomes the foundation. If you're sharp and reliable, you're building something from scratch while learning fast. The person we hire for admin work is often the person running marketing nine months later—if they move quickly and stay engaged. **Requirements** - Must have reliable transport to our Boskruin office every single day - Full-time commitment - Detail-oriented, reliable, wants to understand what you're building
