Job description
We are hiring a Operations & Social Media Assistant in the motor industry to support a growing business primarily through high-impact social media content creation and video editing.
This is a part-time remote role for a US-based client, centered on building brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation through compelling digital storytelling. The ideal candidate is creative, trend-aware, and highly skilled in short-form video content , while still being organized enough to support light administrative and operational tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Administrative Support
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as submitting warranty claims, invoicing, documentation, and data entry
- Support digital sales by responding the client primary through text but also calls and emails.
- Support internal communication and scheduling when required
- Help maintain organized digital files and content libraries
- Provide occasional executive support (calendar, inbox, coordination) as needed
Social Media & Video Content
- Create, edit, and publish short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) tailored to the motor industry
- Develop engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Transform raw footage into polished, high-performing videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
- Stay up to date with social media trends, sounds, and formats to maximize reach and engagement
- Support planning and managing a content calendar, ensuring consistent and strategic posting
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and calls-to-action to drive engagement and conversions
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of Demonstrated success creating Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts that drive engagement.
- Strong working knowledge of CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), and Canva for creating high-quality content.
- Comfortable handling operational tasks such as customer communication, invoicing, documentation, scheduling, and data entry while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal English, a customer-first mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the motor industry or automotive content creation
- Familiarity with content performance analytics and optimization
- Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns (Meta Ads, etc.)
- Basic understanding of branding and storytelling for social media

- CRM tools (GoHighLevel or similar)
- ShopMonkey (similar store management software)
- CapCut / Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing)
- Canva / Adobe Illustrator (graphic design)
- Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Google Workspace
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time position; 9am – 1pm PST (U.S timezone)
- Fully remote role for a US-based company
- Pay ranges from R6,500 – R8,000 per month
- Annual raises, performance bonuses, and paid holidays
System Requirements
- Internet speed of at least 20 Mbps
- Computer with 2.4 GHz processor or higher
- 8 GB RAM or higher
- Windows 10+ or Mac OS X 10.10+
- HD webcam and headset with microphone
