Job description

We are seeking an Operations Support Coordinator for a leading QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) company, this role

coordinates operational support activities across all Corporate Store locations within South Africa, ensuring strict compliance with safety, health, employee transport agreement as per policies, maintenance scheduling, & general operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating facilities maintenance & operational readiness, including essential equipment repairs
Monitoring service provider agreements, transport vendors & contractor performance
Ensuring OHS, regulatory & legislative compliance, including HIRA & safety inspections
Implementing & monitoring OHS frameworks, systems & SOPs
Maintaining statutory records, dashboards & monthly compliance reports
Conducting risk assessments & ensuring ongoing safety preparedness
Liaising with corporate, regional & store management, service providers & internal support teams
Providing OHS training & coaching to Regional and Store Managers

Requirements:

Occupational Health and Safety qualifications or relevant certificates
Minimum proven 3 – 5 years’ previous supervisory, Occupational Health & Safety or combined retail related management experience
Fluent in English (verbal & written) - Proficient Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite
Own reliable transport & valid driver’s license

Salary: R25 000 – R35 000 DOE
