Operations & VCK Specialist

About the Role

Cleardata is looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations & VCK Specialist to oversee and support the effective delivery of our national operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that customer services are efficiently planned, scheduled and delivered in line with customer requirements, service levels and operational capacity. The role will provide strategic and operational support to regional teams, while coordinating resources, fleet availability, service performance, customer escalations and operational compliance.

This is a hands-on role suited to an individual who is organised, analytical, solutions-focused and confident in managing multiple teams and operational priorities. The position will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Fleet, Warehouse and senior management to ensure that customer commitments can be successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all Cleardata regions.
• Ensure regional service schedules are planned and maintained according to customer requirements, contracts and SLAs. Implement efficiency where needed.
• Review and approve regional schedules to ensure that available vehicles, drivers, crews and equipment are sufficient to meet demand.
• Monitor daily service completion and identify missed, delayed or outstanding services.
• Conduct spot check of Ctrack movement reports for nationally to ensure no route deviation and or paper theft.
• Review of customer console movements on VCK to ensure accuracy for billing
• Compile Monthly operational performance measurement report for all regions including movements, service percentage etc.
• Ensure operations comply with Cleardata's health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Support NAID AAA, ISO and other compliance requirements.
• Oversee SafeCyte compliance, reporting, audits, inspections and training requirements

• Qualifications and Experience
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Operations Management or related field would be advantageous.
• Strong operational management experience, preferably within a logistics, fleet, service delivery or shredding environment
• Proven experience managing multiple operational teams
• Strong planning, scheduling and problem-solving abilities
• Good knowledge of routing, fleet utilisation and operational performance
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused, quality-driven and results-oriented
• Good understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements
• Valid driver's licence and own transport
• Ability to take ownership, identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve service delivery and efficiency
