Job Description

EliePro (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and proactive Opportunity & Sales Assistant to support business development activities.

The successful candidate will assist with identifying RFQs, tenders and other suitable business opportunities, while also supporting the development of sales opportunities for cleaning and hygiene products.

This position is suited to someone who is organised, comfortable with online research and email communication, and confident communicating with potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify suitable RFQs, tenders and business opportunities
Monitor relevant opportunities and deadlines
Review opportunity requirements
Assist with quotations and required documentation
Assist with RFQ and tender submissions
Identify potential customers for cleaning and hygiene products
Respond to customer enquiries
Communicate professionally with prospective customers
Assist with preparing approved quotations
Follow up with prospective customers
Maintain accurate records of opportunities and sales activity
Provide regular progress reports

Requirements

Good written communication skills
Good computer literacy
Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
Comfortable conducting online research
Strong attention to detail
Good organisational skills
Reliable and trustworthy
Able to work independently
Able to meet deadlines
Comfortable with customer communication and sales follow-ups
Willingness to learn

Previous experience in sales, procurement, RFQs/tenders, administration or customer service will be an advantage.

Selection Process

The successful candidate will receive role-specific training and guidance.
