Optical Recaller
Location: Danneberg Head Office, Tygervalley, Cape Town
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
About the Role
Danneberg Optometrists is looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Optical Recaller to join our team at our Head Office in Tygervalley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting existing patients to schedule eye examinations, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing excellent customer service while helping our practices maintain strong patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact existing patients to schedule eye examinations and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Confirm, reschedule, and manage appointments.
- Answer patient enquiries professionally and courteously.
- Build positive relationships with patients over the phone.
- Meet daily call and booking targets.
- Work closely with practice teams to ensure efficient scheduling.
- Perform general administrative duties related to patient recalls.
Requirements
- Must reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Optical industry experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
